The content on this website has been provided by the 2008-09 Investigative class of the Indian Institute of  Journalism & New Media, Bangalore, under the guidance of Professor Ralph Frammolino, as part of their diploma programme.

Urmi Misra   Urmi Misra, 22, is from Kolkata. A print student, she has a BA degree in Economics, Political Science and Sociology from St. Joseph's College of Arts And Science, Bangalore. She has also served an internship with the Deccan Herald.  

P Krishnamurthy, 23, a television student from Andhra Pradesh, has worked with Bharat Biotech International Ltd, and with Genpact as a Process Associate.

 
 

Television student Debanjan Nath, 22, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature. He is from West Bengal.

 

Abhishek Vasudev is a television student who has a political science degree from the University of Delhi, located in his hometown.

 
 

Richa Dhodi, 22, is a New Media student from Dehradun. She came to IIJNM with a degree in mass communication. She is currently with digital magazine in Delhi, and serves as a writer to a lifestyle website and contributor to such Bangalore discussion forums like Praja.

  Manasi Phadke, 21, is a print student from Mumbai. Before coming to IIJNM, she earned a Bachelor of Mass Media from Mumbai University. Upon graduation, she will be working at the Bangalore office of Thomson Reuters.   Brenton Cordeiro, 22, is a television journalism student. He holds a BA in Economics and Political Science, from Goa University. He has interned with CNN-IBN (Bangalore) and Times of India (Goa). He has been selected by Thomson Reuters, Bangalore.

Pavan Kumar Hubli, 23, from Mangalore, has done his BA in Journalism from Mangalore University. He has published various articles for newspapers such as The Hindu, Deccan Herald and The New Indian Express while interning with them.

Anirban Sen, 22, a print student from Kolkata, was graduated from Jadavpur University with a BA in History. He has been hired by the Press Association, in Mangalore.

 

Krishna Merchant, 24, will be joining UTVi, business news channel in Mumbai, her hometown. She has lived in the United States and Malaysia, where she received her Bachelors in Medical Bioscience before coming to IIJNM.

Kolkata native Priyanjali Ghose, 23, received a degree in English Literature from Calcutta University.

  Priyanka, 27, is from Delhi. She has done BA (Honours) in Psychology and MA in Political Science. A magazine student, she will be working with the IDG Group.
