Avenue Road is not your average road. As one of the oldest
roads in Bangalore, it enjoys immense attention from shoppers
wanting, a wide range, as well as quality items for a bargain.
But what is the story behind
this road? The film captures the essence of this unchanging
avenue, and explores why it is the poor man's shopping mall.
This
is the gripping real-life tale of two youngsters who show
you a side of life you never thought existed. Flashing light
illuminates addiction among indian, school-going kids. It
is a documentary that will hit you full force from the very
first frame. It will make you more observant of youth and
the problems they face.
Sidlaghatta is known for its
silk. The facts and figures say it all daily production
levels of about 10 14 tonnes, daily transaction levels
of 45 65 tonnes, and a unique zari that is famous
all over India.
Yet, the place suffers. The documentary
looks at the problems of not just the industry, but also the
silk reelers who have to eke a living with meager funds, most
of which are spent on healthcare.
