Academy Award nominated film, ‘Writing with fire’ has won two Sundance awards. It tells the story of Khabar Lahariya, an all-Dalit-women’s newsroom that has its roots in Bundelkhand, UP. Film makers Rintu Thomas and Sushmit Ghosh tracks how the journalists in the newsroom make the shift from print to the digital, and in the bargain, speak truth to power.
