Admissions Procedure


Admission procedure:

1. Completion and submission of application form

2. On-line written test on general knowledge/current affairs

3. A personal interview (in person or by telephone)

4. Notification and acceptance of admission

Completed application forms must reach IIJNM by no later than May 31, 2012. The application will not be considered unless all answers are typewritten (or printed legibly), signed and dated. The applicant's full name must appear at the top right corner on each page of the application and supporting materials. Applications that do not reach by May 31, 2012 will not be considered.

Note: Early applicants may submit their applications prior to March 31, 2012 for consideration. We encourage submitting applications early to assure quick completion of the admission process to limited number of seats. Successful applicants will be notified of acceptance by May 15, 2012. Those awaiting college examination results may be given conditional admission.

Acknowledgement of applications will be e-mailed or posted within 10 days of receipt.

Those short-listed will be notified and arrangements for on-line test and telephone/Skype/Video chat interview will be made with the applicant by the Admissions Committee. Campus visit for written test and interview is not a requirement.

Within 7 days following the interview, those selected for admission will be notified by the admissions committee. Candidates notified for admission are required to confirm acceptance within 7 days following the notification and remit the initial installment of tuition fees.

Campus Visit

Applicants are encouraged to visit IIJNM campus at their convenience, if possible, after emailing us at admin@iijnm.org at least 3 days in advance. Further, applicants may register with us for a campus visit organized by IIJNM. Those who prior confirm their interest in an escorted tour of IIJNM facilities and briefing on the academic programme by the faculty may email us at admin@iijnm.org at least 3 days in advance of the following organized tour dates:

April 21, 2012; April 28, 2012; May 5, 2012, and May 12, 2012

Free round-trip transport will be provided from designated locations in Bangalore city starting at 10.30 am.

On-site written test and interview:

Applicants who are notified of consideration (short-listed) may take written test on-line as arranged by the admission committee. Interview of candidates who have passed the written test is conducted in person at IIJNM campus or by phone.

Those who are planning to visit the campus on one of the four Saturdays listed above may request taking written test and personal interview on the same day of visit; however, they must submit their completed application form ahead of the visit and have been notified of consideration. Written test and interview are conducted at IIJNM from 2 PM on the above dates. Those candidates appearing for personal interview will be notified of admission status at the conclusion of interview or within 24 hours thereafter.
