Our full-time faculty members come from the nation’s leading news organizations and academic institutions with wide experience in print, broadcast and new media. Full-time faculty are complemented by several part-time instructors who are currently serving in news organizations.

IIJNM invites nationally and internationally recognized individuals to deliver guest lectures. These individuals come from specialized fields such as law, environment, government, international finance, technology, art and others.

Nagesh Hegde

Nagesh is an award-winning environmental journalist and was an Editor with Prajavani. He teaches Environmental Reporting, Rural Reporting, and Covering Religious and Social Issues. [more]

K.S. Dakshina Murthy

In 2003, Dakshina aided the launch of the Al-Jazeera website in English. He helps students navigate the tough terrains of International and Political Reporting. [more]

Maya Sharma
