Admission procedure consists of:
- Completion and submission of application form
- Admission Test, Personal Interview, and Counselling
- Notification and acceptance of admission
Completion and Submission of Application Form:
Complete the application form to place your application on active review.
We encourage submitting applications early to assure quick completion of the admission process to the limited number of seats.
- Complete the application form (online or hard copy)
- Upload or attach a photocopy of your marks transcripts and degree certificates. Students awaiting final examination results may submit their provisional degree certificates or the latest marks transcripts.
- Upload or attach the required essay: Describe a recent event that has received major national or international attention, and how it affected you (between 600 and 750 words).
- Pay Rs. 1000 towards the application processing fee to place your application on active review.
The application processing fee may be paid using a credit/debit card (for online applications), or bank draft/pay order (payable at Bangalore) drawn in favour of “IIJNM Bangalore” for physical applications.

IIJNM Admission Test and Personal Interview:
Admission test and personal interview will be conducted on the same day at the following cities in April and May 2019:
Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Patna, Pune, and Ranchi.
The date and location for the admission test and interview at each of the cities will be made available in December 2018.

Notification of Admission:
The results of admission test and personal interview will be made known via email and by courier within 10 days.
Open Days for visit to IIJNM Campus:
“Open Days” and admission counselling will be available at regular intervals during the admission period at our campus in Bangalore. Applicants who have not availed the opportunity to take the Admission Test or the Interview may request the same on any of the Open Days.
The Open Days will include a tour of our campus where you will be able to see the range of facilities, understand the program structure, and interact with our academic staff and alumni. While it is not mandatory, all candidates/applicants are encouraged to participate on our Open Days and experience the atmosphere of the Institute.
Admission Counselling will be conducted by the Director of Admissions. This is an opportunity for candidates/applicants and their parents to ask questions about the program, job placement, hostel facilities, etc.
Students are required to arrive in college 2 days prior to the start of the academic year for registration.
Students are also assigned their dormitory residence and may stay in the hostel from the registration day itself.
All fees paid are non-refundable.
In the past, several banks have provided student loans to IIJNM applicants who were accepted for admission. You may approach your local bank with whom your family has banking relationship for a student or personal loan for the programme. IIJNM will assist you in meeting the documentation requirements of your bank for the approval of student loan.
The institute has partnerships with several banks and financial institutions who have agreed to consider student loan facility for study at IIJNM.
