This is an optional supplemental programme for those who wish to pursue a career in promotions and media relations at corporations, non-governmental organizations, and international agencies/government. This specialization is open only to those who are in the multimedia stream and wish to learn how to communicate to and promote through the media.

By completing this programme that runs the entire academic year, you will earn a post-graduate diploma in journalism (PGDJ) with specialization in multimedia and professional communications.

The specialization covers everything from planning to executing a comprehensive communications campaign. Areas include internal and external communication, media relations, social media and digital communication, and crisis communication. Special focus on digital communication examines the strategic use of digital technologies by communication professionals. This concentration addresses how to use the Web, blogs and social media to reach out to the media and diverse publics and how to incorporate digital with traditional communication campaigns.
